The cornerstone of Anne Tollett’s success is her ability to reveal each client’s innate design sensibilities while creating spaces that appear to have evolved effortlessly. She approaches every project with humor, candor and relatable design advice.
Known for her refined use of color, finishes, and materials, Anne’s rooms are a blend of old and new with a keen awareness of the distinction between iconic and fashionable trends. Anne guides her clients to enduring palettes and profiles, and her finished spaces are light, inviting and livable.
“I want my clients to be surrounded by things that reflect who they are, what they love, and how they live. I never like a space to feel overly designed or heavy-handed,” she says. “My goal is to create rooms that feel timeless and effortless…rooms that beg my clients to come live in them and feel at home.”
Anne has worked with clients across the country on all stages of their projects from collaborating with architects as a house is still being imagined to simply designing individual rooms. Says Anne, “I get the same thrill searching for the perfect fabric as I do standing in a room that has been taken to the studs.”
Anne began her design career over 10 years ago in Austin, Texas. She now lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and two daughters. Anne regularly works with clients all over the United States.
